About Endrené

Endrené Shepherd was born in Vancouver, raised in Kaleden, and now lives in Penticton, BC. She obtained a BFA in 2004 from UBC Okanagan. Member of The Federation of Canadian Artists since 2024.

Endrené has always been a storyteller. Her paintings and illustrations transport the viewer, her comics take an unflinching view of 21st-century life— and her new thing? Endrené is beginning work as an audiobook narrator, with a focus on intimate, character-driven nonfiction and memoir.

She’s exhibited in many group shows throughout the South Okanagan and Japan since 2001. Her first CARFAC gallery exhibition was at the Lake Country Gallery in 2021, and she has since gone on to have solo shows in Penticton, Summerland, and Osoyoos, and has participated in residencies in Seaview, Washington, and Penticton, BC.
