Endrené Shepherd paints murals (and is perhaps best known locally for her mural on Tickleberry’s (an ice-cream and gift shop) in Okanagan Falls, BC); does illustrations; engages in Live Painting and Graphic Recording for private, community, and corporate events; she is active as a right hand to Dave Mai of DM Productions as a camera operator, DOP, storyboarder & digital editor; and she completes ongoing fine art commissions for both private and corporate clients. Endrené served on the Board of Directors for the Penticton Arts Council for three years before leaving to focus on her new state of motherhood in 2015.

Born in Vancouver and raised in the rural setting of Kaleden, BC, Endrené displayed an aptitude for art-making from an early age. She learned how to handle watercolours from her grandfather, and has made art the focal point of her life for as long as she has existed. She graduated from Pen High in 1997 with the distinction of being the ‘Top Art Student’, graduated from the Capilano College Film Studies program in 1999, and went on to get a BFA degree from UBCO in 2004. Her work has been exhibited in (numerous) exhibitions locally and (just one) internationally.

Endrené lives in Penticton with her partner Dave, their son, and a very rotund and opinionated cat.
